Why I decided to join Roundtables |
|

In 1997, my partner, Erich Eggers, came back from the Remodeler's Show telling me about this great group of remodelers led by Linda Case and Victoria Downing. He wanted to join, but after hearing the cost, I dismissed the idea. I'm not exactly sure what made me reconsider a year later... maybe another year of no profit and headaches. |

In the years since we joined RAR, my wife (also an owner) and I have seen our salary increase over 5-fold! Our mark-up is where it needs to be to support a planned net profit, a great salary, and a support staff to allow me six weeks vacation a year. The bi-yearly meetings really allow our company owners the chance to learn from others in the same situation as ours. The friendships and advice from fellow top performing remodelers have helped our business and personal lives. So let's see... increased salary, more profit, less headaches, and a better personal life. What else is there? |

Future goals |

Our short-term plan is to purchase a building that will provide enough expansion space for our remodeling and handyman business. Long-term plans include more systemization to remove the owners from day-to-day operations; and working on a succession plan. |
