Why I decided to join Roundtables |
|
|
I heard about RAR through a testimonial from an existing member. I decided that this was exactly what I needed to get to the "next level." I wanted my 60-year-old renovation company to be more profitable. We were still recovering from the 90s recession. I also liked the idea of "peer review," and being able to share and bare my soul to people who weren't my competitors, and who would be able to share honest, constructive, knowledgeable criticism, and affirmation. I also wanted to look at exit strategies over the next few years. |

I've learned that many of the practices that we have been doing were OK, but needed some improvements, and some things needed to be completely overhauled. We've improved our bottom line considerably, became more efficient in many areas, and our staff has a lot more enthusiasm. I am now able to spend most of my time working "on the business," instead of "in the business." My group has become my unofficial "Board of Directors." |

Future goals |

|
I am working toward having my Company function more and more without my daily involvement. My team of people are handling the functions of doing renovation work very well, and are open to improvement and change. My exit strategy is gradually unfolding. |
