Tim Faller was a custom home builder and remodeler in Thomasville, Georgia before joining the team at Hopkins and Porter Construction, Inc. an award winning design build company based in Potomac, Maryland. Tim began as a Lead Carpenter in June of 1988 and moved to the position of Production Manager overseeing a field staff of Lead Carpenters in 1989.

In 1994 Tim helped launch the New Homes division of Hopkins and Porter and currently is the Vice President for New Homes. Over the course of the last few years, Tim has shared his talents and experience with hundreds of remodeling company owners and their staffs helping them increase the efficiency and productivity of their production departments.

Not only has Tim talked to hundreds of remodelers about his systems on a one-to-one basis, he also developed a training seminar for Lead Carpenters through the local National Association of the Remodeling Industry association, a seminar that later became the basis for the National NARI Certified Lead Carpenter Program.

Tim is a popular convention speaker and has spoken extensively at seminars and trade shows across the country. The Journal of Light Construction believed so much in Tim's ability to communicate and teach his ideas that they worked with him to published The Lead Carpenter Handbook, The Complete Hands-On Guide to Successful Job-Site Management, one of our Success Tools.

In August of 1999, Tim formed Field Training Services, a firm committed to training production staff in good job site management and helping companies develop training programs for their field staff. In September, Tim became a member of ExpertNet, a network of industry experts sponsored by Remodelers Advantage, Inc. in Silver Spring, Maryland.
